IDA Ontario Webinar: Is French Immersion ‘Suitable’ for Children with Dyslexia? With Dr. Nancy Wise

Dr. Nancy Wise will discuss some of the widespread but unsubstantiated beliefs people have about French immersion, and how those beliefs often result in barriers that restrict access to the program for students with learning disabilities. She will share research evidence obtained by leading investigators indicating that, with the provision of support both at school and at home, most students are successful in French immersion. Information, strategies, and resources designed to increase students’ opportunities for success in the program will be provided.

To watch the complete webinar visit the IDA Ontario page at – Previous IDA Ontario Webinars.
