Teacher Resource

Dyslexia is the most common learning disability and makes up about 80% of all learning disability diagnoses. The International Dyslexia Association estimates that about 15%-20% of the population has a language-based learning disability.

The International Dyslexia Association has created an incredible handbook for teachers that is designed to optimize learning in a classroom setting.

The handbook covers several key topics, including:

  • Classroom Strategies, Tips, and Tools
  • Multi sensory Structured Language Teaching
  • Social and Emotional Connection
  • And more!

Access the teacher handbook here: Dyslexia in the Classroom: What Every Teacher Needs to Know.
