The Learning Disabilities Association of New Brunswick (LDANB) is a charitable organization founded in 1970. Our mission is to promote the understanding and acceptance of the ability of persons with learning disabilities to lead meaningful and successful lives. LDANB recognizes that access to higher education plays an important role in this mission, and as such LDANB is pleased to open the application period for its annual scholarship. The scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded to a grade 12 student entering post-secondary in the 2026-2027 academic year, or a current post-secondary student who will be continuing their studies into the 2026-2027 academic year.

I hope you are doing well. My name is Bex Leveck, and I am currently a resident of Guysborough, Nova Scotia. I will be attending Durham College in the Early Childhood Education program beginning in Fall 2026.
I recently came across your scholarship information but noticed that some opportunities are limited to New Brunswick residents. I was wondering if your organization offers any scholarships, bursaries, or financial support opportunities for Nova Scotia residents as well.
I was also wondering if there are any scholarships related to ADHD, anxiety, depression, learning disabilities, neurodivergence, or mental health challenges that you may recommend or know of.
I am currently trying very hard to research funding opportunities for post-secondary school and would greatly appreciate any advice, recommendations, or resources you may be able to share.
