Employment Opportunity: Program Manager 

Position type:  Full time/renewal

Salary: starting at $32,760

Job Region: Fredericton, NB

The Learning Disabilities Association of New Brunswick/Troublesd’apprentissage–Association du Nouveau-Brunswick (LDANB/TAANB) is seeking applications for the position of Program Manager. The primary responsibility of the Program Manager is to oversee and manage key programs and contracts, and to help advance the mission and vision of the association.

Responsibilities: Working with the Executive Director and/or Board of Directors, the Program Manager will:

  • Accept referrals from for Psycho-Educational assessments
  • Manage database of provincial psychologists and
  • Contact psychologists to schedule initial client contacts
  • Report on descriptive statistics related to Psycho-Educational assessment activities
  • Maintain running budgets for eight provincial regions
  • Process psychologists’ invoices using Sage Accounting software
  • Prepare invoices for contracted Psycho-Educational services
  • Attend meetings with project authorities
  • Prepare and offer presentations on Learning Disabilities and cognitive strategies
  • Manage Screening for Success training program
  • Carry out administrative duties (e.g., file maintenance, communication with the public)

Skills: Skills in Microsoft Office, accounting software, office administration, ability to work both independently and with others.

This is a fully bilingual position.

Qualifications: 

  • University graduation in a related field, or equivalent training and experience
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with funding proposals and report writing
  • Ability to carry out public speaking and presentations
  • Understanding of Learning Disabilities
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Experience with Non-Profit organizations is a definite asset
  • Written and spoken competence in French and English
