Millie LeBlanc Recognized
On January 5th, Ainsley Congdon, LDANB’s acting Executive Director, presented Millie LeBlanc with a certificate in recognition of her many years of involvement with LDANB. Millie has been volunteering in the field of learning disabilities for over 30 years. Millie assumed many roles while advocating for those with learning disabilities, including volunteer editor of the National Newsletter for Learning Disabilities Association of Canada, holding the position of Vice President Eastern Region of the Learning Disabilities Association of Canada, while being actively involved with LDANB’s provincial Board of Directors. Millie was also the recipient of the Honorable Andy Scott Award in 2015.
The LDANB Board of Directors sincerely thank Millie for her dedication to supporting those with learning disabilities.
