Barton Tutor Profile – Series

Help us celebrate our hard working Barton Tutors!

The first tutor profile to be featured on our website is Breanne Gallagher! Breanne is our lovely Tutor Coordinator and has worked incredibly hard to help build our Barton Program up to where it is today. She began working with LDANB-TAANB as a tutor in January of 2019 and her dedication to student progress made it clear that she was going to quickly advance to the Tutor Coordinator position that same year. Breanne will be attending St. Thomas University in September 2021 to pursue a degree in Education and we know she will be the most amazing teacher. The LDANB office will not be the same without her!

Of her time at LDANB, Breanne says;

“I’ve been working with LDANB since Winter 2019, my last semester of my undergrad degree. I originally started because I wanted to try something different, but ended up finding something I love. It’s been amazing to work with students these last 2.5 years, seeing them grow as both students and individuals. I feel really lucky to have had this opportunity, and then to further work with parents and students as the Barton Coordinator. It’s been a fantastic opportunity that I will carry with me forever, whether teaching students one-on-one or in a classroom.

Thank you to all of my student’s and student’s parents for working with me these past couple years. It’s been a lot of fun and I’ve learned as much from them as they have from me!”

We know that Breanne has made an impact on all of the students she has worked with over the past two years. Read some feedback that has been received about Breanne and her work.

Parent/Guardian Feedback
  • “Breanne has been a great asset to my daughter. Her guided level reading at school has jumped by many levels within the last year. She is more confident when it comes to approaching her reading and writing and does well with her self-correcting in both areas. She will truly be missed over the summer.”
  • “Breanne has been our son’s tutor from the very beginning… going on two years. She is an amazing tutor. Breanne is patient, kind, gentle and a very understanding and compassionate human. She creates a positive learning environment that meets the learning needs of the child. My son looks forward to learning with Breanne each week with enthusiasm. He credits her with his improvement in reading and says that she has helped him more than anyone else!”
  • “Breanne is the most patient and kind tutor. She listens and works with our daughter beautifully. She is well on her way to becoming a wonderful teacher. We are so grateful that our daughter had the chance to be tutored by Breanne.”
